Founded in Muzaffarnagar, PSR Metals Pvt Ltd is an eminent and reputed manufacturer and supplier company offering a prime quality of Lead ingots, lead refining pots, rotary furnace, American coal, tyre oil plant, eqt cranes, and air pollution control system, etc to our customers at reasonable rates. Lead Manufacturing

Introduction:
M/s PSR Metals Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing unit engaged in manufacturing of Lead ingots from old battery scrap with the current installed capacity of 10,000 MT per annum. Our manufacturing unit is well equipped with automated pollution control system which prevents environment and encourages employees to work in a pollution free environment. The company has also obtained pollution clearance certificate from Ministry of Environment and Forest & Central Pollution Control Board. The company is continuously in expansion mode to meet our futuristic goals and production. We are manufacturing Remelted lead, Pure lead (99.97% – 99.98%) , Lead alloys(Antimony-Tin-Selenium) and lead powder as per customer specifications.

Remelted Lead Ingots:
Remelted lead ingots are obtained from recycling old battery scrap in Rotary Furnace. Remelted lead ingots are also known as unrefined lead ingots, Raw Lead or Crude Lead. These ingots contains dross ranging from 1% to 4%. Lead metal content in Remelted Lead/ Unrefined Lead ranges from 97% to 98% and remaining 2% to 3% are mixture of elements like Antimony, Tin, Arsenic, Bismuth, Copper, Silver, Iron, Nickel, etc. Remeleted lead ingots are taken further for processing of Pure lead, lead alloys, etc.

Pure lead:
Pure lead ingots are obtained after refining process of Unrefined/ Remelted lead. Total process of obtaining pure lead from unrefined lead typically taked 24 hours to 36 hours. Purity of lead in Refined lead ranges from 99.97% to 99.99% by weight. Our company have 40 MT per day capacity refining pots to meet company’s production and demand. We procure unrefined lead from our recycling unit and also from outside vendors as well. On quality side, all lead ingots are tested through in-house Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) which provides impurity levels upto 5 ppm. All ingots are free of dross and surface contamination

Our company have 40 MT per day capacity refining pots to meet company’s production and demand. We procure unrefined lead from our recycling unit and also from outside vendors as well. On quality side, all lead ingots are tested through in-house Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) which provides impurity levels upto 5 ppm. All ingots are free of dross and surface contamination

Lead Alloys:
Lead alloys are mixture of lead and other elements in which lead constitutes 94-96% and other elements constitutes remaining 4-6% depending upon the requirement of buyers. Lead alloys are majorly used in manufacturing plates grids in batteries. Lead alloys are manufactured as per customer’s specifications. Like Pure lead, Lead alloys are also manufactured from unrefined lead ingots in alloy kettles which takes 16 hours to 24 hours in processing.

We have 40 MT per day installed capacity of manufacturing lead alloys. Different types of alloys are: Lead- Antimony Alloy, Lead- Tin Alloy, Lead-Calcium Alloy, etc. Majorly used lead alloy specification is below.

Lead Oxides

Grey Oxide:
Grey oxide is produced in Ball Mill through Enothermic Reaction. Good quality of Grey oxide is manufactured from pure lead having purity levels above 99.97%. We supply oxide in PP bags of 25 kgs. It is majorly used in pasting of battery plate grids. It is also used in manufacturing enamels & paints. Specification of grey oxide depends on the customer’s requirement.

Red Oxide / Red Lead:
Read oxide is produced through Barton plant. Raw material used in the process of red lead in refined lead ingots with minimum purity of 99.97%. It is majorly used in Battery industry, glass Industry, Paint industry, etc.

Polypropylene (PP) Grinding chips:
We manufacture PP grinding chips from plastic scrap. All grinding chips are obtained from virgin plastic scrap. These are widely used in injection moulding products. We provide material in 40 kg packed bags to provide safety from outside dust. 

Quality Control:
Our company follows strict procedures in maintaining the quality of finished goods. We have dedicated quality control lab with installed Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) along with manual testing of lead samples. Our OES indicates impurities upto 21 elements including gold and Platinum. We also ensure dross free lead without discoloration & surface contamination to our customers. Also certain quality check ups are made while in between of processing of lead till it reaches to its final stage to safeguard the standard of lead ingots.
